Win exclusive tickets & accommodation to the Portico Prize Award Ceremony + membership to the Portico Library!

The Portico Prize is inviting independent bookshops and libraries to create imaginative window and in-store displays around a theme of ‘the North’, in celebration of the Portico Prize 2022’s longlist, shortlist and winning books.
The bookshop or library with the best dressed window or display will receive a prize of two exclusive tickets to the Portico Prize Award Ceremony in January 2022 and hotel accommodation for the night in Manchester city centre, plus a year’s membership to the Portico Library. Everyone taking part will be offered two free tickets to one of our upcoming Rewriting the North events, in association with the Portico Prize.
How to take part
Register your interest: jane@janeactonpr.co.uk. We will support you by sending news stories at key stages of the Prize and providing assets to share on social media.

Share a story and post pictures of your displays and window designs on social media using the hashtag #PorticoPrize and #WhatsYourNorth and tag the Portico Library — follow and tag us on Instagram, Twitter and/or Facebook so we can see your pictures and share them to our followers!
The deadline for sharing your display is Monday 22 November 2021. The winner will be announced on 3 December 2021.

Stocking the longlisted and shortlisted books; creating table displays of the longlisted and shortlisted books; supporting news announcements on social media; running flat-lay competitions on Instagram; curating lists of the best northern writing; hosting author events.
