For our second life modelling session of 2026, we are pleased to be working with life model, visual artist and musician, Jasmin Issaka.
"Jasmin Issaka (she/her) is a Manchester-based life model and multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice centres on body confidence, creative freedom, and the quiet power of showing up as you are. With over three years of life modelling experience and more than a decade working as an artist, Jasmin approaches the studio as a space for both observation and liberation. Through strong, dynamic, and expressive poses, she aims to support artists in studying real, diverse bodies while gently challenging narrow ideals of form and perfection. Her work embraces movement, presence, and the beauty of bodies in all their lived realities.
As both model and artist, Jasmin is passionate about empowering creatives to draw with honesty, curiosity, and care — creating spaces where bodies are not judged, but understood, respected, and celebrated."
When it comes to a visual experience with Jasmin, expect colourful and energetic both in the literal and personality sense! Be sure to follow HappeningInMCR on Instagram or sign up to their monthly newsletter for more updates.
