In this exciting murder mystery workshop, you will not only learn how to solve a thrilling crime, but also immerse yourself in the historic atmosphere of The Portico Library!

No experience is needed, so don't worry if you're new to this type of activity – we'll guide you through the process and help you feel comfortable and confident as you delve into this exciting adventure. During the evening, you'll have the opportunity to follow clues, speak to characters dressed in captivating costumes and search the historic library for evidence! As you do so, you can enjoy a delicious mince pie and a warming drink provided by the Portico Library. It's truly an evening to remember!

The night will begin with a chance to mingle and explore the historic setting of The Portico Library. This magnificent members library, which has been around for 216 years, will surround you with its grandeur and regality, enhancing your immersive experience. Whether you come as a team of up to five or as an individual, you'll have the chance to work together, collaborate, and use your detective skills to try and crack the case. While Victorian costume is highly encouraged, it's not essential to fully enjoy the evening.

And here's the best part – the winning team will take home prizes! So put your detective hat on, follow the clues, and see if you have what it takes to solve the mystery. We have a special prize for best costume too! By the end of the evening, not only will you have had a fantastic time, but you'll also have created memories and perhaps even made new friends.
