Here's your chance to really test your literary knowledge. Quiz Master, Ed Glinert, will deliver questions on some of the greatest authors, from Atwood to Zola. This will be a unique quiz with 6 special rounds which give one or two nods to the Library's collection and its most treasured books.
Maximum 4 people per team. Sweet and savoury bites (included in the ticket price) will be served to tables between quiz rounds and drinks will be sold at the bar. Ticket sales go towards making The Portico Library and its charitable programmes sustainable for the future.
Ed Glinert was born in Dalston, east London. His fascination with people and place, the bizarre and the arcane, coupled with his forensic gift for digging out obscure stories, is perfectly suited to his work as a tour guide in Manchester. Ed hosts a regular quiz in Hebden Bridge and writes for some of the UK's largest publishers.
