Come and explore the Portico Library's copies of Pride and Prejudice, then settle down to vote for your favourite Mr Darcy from TV and Film - from 3 of them anyway.

Short clips of the most smouldering Darcy moments will be screened back to back: the entrance, the dance 1, dance 2, at Lady Catherine's, proposal 1, Pemberley, proposal 2. Score your favourite leading man on smouldering, charisma etc.

It's 250 years since Jane Austen's birth and 30 years since the 1995 TV adaptation, so let's unwind with a hard or soft drink, and enjoy her most famous male character.
