Group visits

Tour Groups

We welcome tour groups and offer in depth talks on the library and its history. We can tailor our talks to cover particular areas of the library's past or to highlight specific aspects of the collection. Please let us know your area of interest when contacting us.

The cost for our talks is £3.50 per person and these take place in the central library space.

We always endeavour to show the private reading room to group visitors, but please be aware that this may not be possible when it is in use by our members and readers.

We accept numbers of no less than 8 and no more than 30 people per tour group paying £3.50 per person. Please consult with a member of staff to learn more about prices for smaller or larger groups.

If you would like any refreshments during your visit we will be happy to discuss the options with you. Please contact us for a full quote.
